Some things I've learned

If you answer a question really fast, people will think you are correct.  For example, Joey asked Jake "How much does a baseball weigh?"
"Four pounds," Jake quickly replied without looking up - not missing a beat.
"Wow Jake, you know your stuff, " I said.
